Campground Information

Southern Wisconsin is an area known as the "Drift-less Region", meaning never glaciated and therefore has spectacular ridges, majestic bluffs, lush green valleys, and gorgeous rolling hills.  This unique landscape makes the Wisconsin Dells/Baraboo Area a Favorite Destinations for outdoor Enthusiasts.

Chapparal Campground was built in 2000 on a level hill with dry sites and very few mosquito's.

Our campground facilities offer you a variety of options.   You can choose from sites with full hook-ups (water, sewer and electric) RV Drive-thru sites, sites with partial hookups (water and electric) ,group areas and rustic sites.  A dump station is also available.

We also offer 1 room sleeping cabin rentals with 1 full size bed and 2 bunk beds. These cabins also have heater, refrigerator, fire ring, picnic table & Grill. Electric & Water are available outside.

Our 2 room cabins have 2 beds & a futon.  These larger cabins also include microwave, refrigerator, heater, air conditioning, flush toilet, water, fire ring, picnic table & grill.

Our large two bedroom cabin has 1 queen bed in one room.  2 bunk beds in the other bedroom.  Bathroom with shower, flush toilet, sink, futon, two burner stove, dishes, pots & pans, silverware, head, air cond, deck, grill & fire ring.

NOTE: Towels & bedding are not provided in cabins.

The new showers, restrooms and Laundromat are extremely clean and accessible to all camp sites and pool area.
