Memorial Day Celebration

Saturday, May 27th

Join us in remembering and honoring our countrys fallen heros.

11:00am – A Multi Unit Parade will travel through the campground featuring units from Local Fire and EMS, Local and State Police plus Military Units.

12:00pm – Seasonal Meet & Greet Picnic. Come down to the Lower Pavilion and meet new seasonals plus catch up with old friends.  We will supply Brats and Beans. Please bring a dish to pass and drinks.

8:00pm – Seasonals and guests join us of a Golf Cart/ UTV Parade through the campground. You can even rent a golf cart. Line up at the upper pavilion and take part in honoring our great country. Bring candy for the kids!

Vendor Craft Fair

Sunday May 28th

11:00am – 2:00pm – Chapparal Campground welcomes local crafters and vendors. Come get your shopping on. This event is open to the public.

Fourth of July Celebration

Saturday July 1st

 12:00pm – An old fashioned, 4th of July picnic. Meet us at the lower pavilion for some delicious food and get to know your fellow campers. Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Potato Salad and Baked Beans. Please bring a dish to pass and your own drinks. 

Sunday July 2nd

8:00pm – Our annual July 4th celebration is the time to put on your patriotic best. Decorate your golf cart/UTV and yourself for parade through the campground. Please bring candy to toss to the kids. After the parade, around 8:30pm, head to the beach and get your front row seat to a great firework display brought to by Dennis and his team!!

Christmas in July

Saturday July 29th

Join in the fun! Decorate your sites and enjoy Christmas in July.

8:00pm – Holiday Golf Cart /UTV Parade through the campground, line up at the upper pavilion. Please bring candy treats for the kids.

It’s a Pizza Party & Bingo

Saturday August 12th

 12:00pm – Join us for a delicious slice of pizza at the lower pavilion. Please bring some snacks or desserts plus your drinks. Special thanks to Jeff & Linda Pearcy for their generosity in suppling pizza.

3:00pm – Bingo is back! Head back down to the lower pavilion and have some fun with friends playing Bingo. Some great prizes will be handed out.

 Tailgate Party – Chili Cookoff

Saturday September 2nd

 12:00pm – It’s cookoff time at Chapparal, grab your crockpots and show off your best chili, judging for 1st place hot & mild chili. Come on down to the main pavilion and enjoy, please bring a dish to pass if you are not participating in the chili cook off, also bring your own drinks. 

3:00pm – Bingo is back! Meet at the lower pavilion and have some fun with friends playing Bingo. Some great prizes will be handed out.

Spooky Halloween Fun

Saturday October 7th 

Join the spooky fun and decorate your camp site.

10:00am – Come down to the lower pavilion, for kids pumpkin painting and crafts.

1:00pm – 4:00pm – Trick or Treating is a tradition. Get in the Halloween spirit, decorate your site, dress in costume and walk/cruise the campground trick or treating. Please bring candy treats for the kids and feel free to mix up some ghoulish drinks for the adults.

7:00 – When the sun goes down, make your way to the upper pavilion to join us for a spooky Golf Cart/UTV parade through the campground to see all the ghostly site decorations.
